The Florida Gift Fruit Shippers Association, a Florida cooperative, closed on its sale of the facility it owned and operated at 5500 West Colonial Drive, Orlando, Florida 32808. According to public records, the sale closed on Thursday, September 11, 2020.
The property consists of 2 separate parcels; one parcel is 3.66 acres and includes a total of 29,900 square feet of rentable warehouse and office space. The other parcel is unimproved and covers 4.88 acres. The property appears to be used for truck parking.
The property was originally developed in the 1960s as a citrus packing facility. The property is zoned C-3 Light Manufacturing in unincorporated Orange County.
The buyer is LB Auto Trading LLC, which borrowed $2,377,900.00 from First Internet Bank of Indiana to finance the purchase of the facility.
